Today is National Cupcake Day for SPCAs and Humane Societies

The Ontario SPCA says today is the most delicious way to show your support for animals in need of your help.

The SPCA says rather than hosting an in-person Cupcake Day party as they have in past years, this year, to keep people safe during COVID-19, they are asking Canadians to bake at home and help raise money for animals in need.

Participants can enter a virtual cupcake decorating contest and can raise funds online to help animals in their community.

The Animal Assistance Society of Niagara Region, the Niagara Humane Society and the Welland Humane Society are listed as participants in the day.
