Remember that CERB benefit is taxable
Anyone who received the Canada Recovery Benefit (CRB), Canada Recovery Caregiving Benefit, or Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) in 2021 should have received a T4.
In case you weren't aware the benefits are considered taxable income.
Revenue Canada also says your return will be considered filed on time if it's received or postmarked with today's date.
The agency adds if you owe money, your payment will be considered paid on time if it is received or if it is processed at a Canadian financial institution, on or before May 2, 2022.
