The Town of Fort Erie is temporarily restricting access to Bay Beach when the province's stay at home order ends.
The restrictions are aligned with Ontario's COVID-19 Response Framework.
Beachgoers will be required to show proof of residency such as a driver's license as well as one of three eligible 2021 Bay Beach passes.
Fort Erie residents and taxpayers can purchase a resident season pass for $10 each once the stay at home order ends, a commercial season pass for $100 once the province moves Niagara into the orange, yellow or green level of the colour-coded framework, or a $5 day pass when Niagara is in Orange, Yellow or Green.
Beachgoers living in an area marked as Grey will be denied beach access even with an eligible commercial or day pass.
