The Town is asking residents to keep a few things in mind for when the snow starts falling.
You're being asked not to park on the street from November 1st to March 31st, in order to accommodate snow plows.
The Town says that parking on the street will result in a parking ticket.
Other reminders from the town include:
- Pile snow from your driveway and walkways onto your property, instead of on the road.
- Clear the sidewalk in front of your house and apply salt or sand if it's slippery.
- Make sure that fire hydrants are clear and accessible.
- Don't let kids play or build snow forts in snow banks near the road.
- Don't place recycling and garbage bins on top of snow banks: place them on your driveway near the edge of the road on garbage day.
