Township staff will work remotely and in the office.
The Township of Wainfleet has become the latest Niagara municipality to announce measures to protect staff from COVID-19.
Officials say starting January 4th, Town Hall will switch to a two-shift model, which was used last year and early this year.
This means staff will work both remotely and in the office to ensure residents continue to have high quality service in case an employee tests positive for COVID-19.
Town Hall services will be by appointment only, and drinking water quality testing drop off services will be temporarily suspended.
The public is also being encouraged to do as much as possible online.
