The significant snowfall has forced the suspension of transit services in Niagara.
The Niagara Region says Niagara Region Transit and NRT OnDemand service is suspended for the rest of the day.
St. Catharines Transit bus service has also been paused for the remainder of the day, though Paratransit and OnDemand will run for essential trips only.
Customers that require transportation for essential reasons are encouraged to contact Paratransit at 905-685-9844/905-687-5555 before 9 pm to book a trip
Meanwhile, the City of Welland says Welland Transit service is suspended for the rest of the day, but WellTrans and OnDemand options are available for those who require accessible transportation.
Residents requiring WellTrans service can call 905-735-1700 x3102 for more information.
Bookings can be made until 4 p.m. for both services.
