The City of St. Catharines is encouraging residents to donate a gift for a deserving child this Christmas.
The 23rd annual Tree of Little Angels gift drive campaign is underway.
This year, people have the option to drop off new, unwrapped gifts at City facilities, or donate cash through text.
To make a cash donation, text the word "GIVE" to 20222.
You will receive a text back providing the option to donate $10 or $25.
Trees and bins will be set up at St. Catharines City Hall, Port Weller Community Centre, Russell Avenue Community Centre; Seymour Hannah Sports and Entertainment Centre, the St. Catharines Kiwanis Aquatic Centre and the St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre.
This year, trees will be set up at many City facilities, however, to slow the spread of COVID-19, they will not be set up at older adult centres.
