Two people in hospital after crash into the Ottawa River
The search is on for two Royal Canadian Air Force members after a helicopter crash in eastern Ontario.
Just after midnight, a Chinook helicopter crashed into the Ottawa River during a training exercise.
Four people were onboard, but two members were found by rescuers.
They were taken to a hospital in Pembroke.
The Air Force confirms the missing individuals are members of the 450 Tactical Helicopter Squadron.
Boaters are being asked to stay away from the shores of the Garrison Petawawa as the search continues.
Garrison Petawawa is located about 150 kilometres northwest of Ottawa.
