Only two drivers were charged with impaired driving, after the NRP conducted two Festive R.I.D.E. campaigns in St. Catharines and Welland.
Officers stopped about 450 drivers on Saturday. Over 20 of them had to provide a breath sample.
Three drivers registered in the warning range. They each received a three-day license suspension.
The officers also laid six other charges for various offences.
Niagara Regional Police would like to remind everyone not to drink and drive this holiday season.
