Two Men Charged in Niagara Falls Drug Bust

A 42-year-old man from St. Catharines is facing drug trafficking charges, after an NRP officer pulled him over in Niagara Falls.

He was heading north on Garner Road, when an officer recognized him and stopped him in the Thorold Stone area early this morning.

He was arrested for driving with a suspended licence.

Police found purple fentanyl, almost 35-grams of pot and about $14,000 worth of cocaine while searching the vehicle.

They also uncovered various drug paraphernalia and $2,490 cash.

Police also arrested and charged his passenger, a 22-year-old man from Toronto and Niagara.
