A man had to be airlifted to an out of town hospital with life threatening injuries after an assault in Welland.
Police say the 31-year-old was riding his bike with another 31-year-old man in the Southworth Street and Victory Ave area Wednesday evening, when they were allegedly assaulted by two other men.
They believe this was a targeted incident.
The other 31-year-old man was taken to a local hospital and he has since been released.
