Wainfleet is reporting two positive cases of COVID-19 within Town Hall.
Officials say two administrative employees tested positive over the weekend.
They're currently self-isolating and all of their close contacts will be notified.
The cases were not transmitted within the workplace, but CAO William Kolasa says they're not taking any chances.
"We are sending a number of employees for testing, liaising with Public Health for contact tracing and ensuring that we remain vigilant with active screening measures, enhanced cleaning procedures, social distancing, mask use and hand hygiene protocols."
All council meetings will be held virtually for the time being and today's special meeting about the proposed Central Fire Hall project will be postponed.
Public Health officials inspected Town Hall yesterday and they deemed the Township's COVID-19 safety protocols reasonable and adequate.
