Senate votes in favour of making daylight savings time permanent
The Senate yesterday approving the bill that would make daylight saving time permanent across the country.
However its not a done deal, the House of Representatives still has to approve the move.
The bill however delays implementation to November 2023, in order to allow transportation companies to adjust schedules.
If it does pass that would probably mean Canada will feel the pressure to follow suit.
Ontario has already approved staying on daylight time, but only if Quebec and New York do the same.
