Slowdowns reported on QEW at Glendale
Supporters have lined some of the highway overpasses in Niagara Falls and St. Catharines as a local convoy of truckers heads to Hamilton where they will rally on Kenora Avenue at 9:30.
From there they will get back on the highway and meet up with the larger Freedom Convoy on its way to Ottawa for Saturday's demonstration.
The drivers are protesting a new rule requiring them to be fully vaccinated when crossing the border.
Truckers in the ``Freedom Convoy'' set out from B-C last week on their way to Ottawa.
