City says damage occurred on either October 30th or 31st.
The City of Niagara Falls says a local baseball diamond has been destroyed by vandals.
Officials believe the diamond at Patrick Cummings Memorial Sports Complex was damaged on either Saturday or Sunday.
The City notes there's evidence of off-road vehicle tracks from an ATV and dirt bike across the playing field, and the extent of the damage remains under investigation.
Municipal Works Manager Marianne Tikky estimates it will cost thousands of dollars to repair.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the Niagara Regional Police Service at their non-emergency line 905-688-4111.
