The Ford Government is setting aside $2.7-million to address a recent spike in domestic violence.
It’s going to benefit more than 50 community agencies across Ontario.
Victim Services Niagara will receive a one-time emergency payment of $50,500.
It’s in addition to the money the organization usually gets from the government.
Niagara West MPP Sam Oosterhoff says the money will help domestic violence victims get the help they need to stay safe and healthy during the COVID-19 crisis.
