The Township of Wainfleet has partially activated it's Emergency Operations Centre in response to COVID-19.
It ensures the continuity of municipal services in the event of an emergency.
Officials have decided to close all township buildings until April 5th, but you can still each township staff over the phone or online.
They're also stepping up their sanitation efforts in all township facilities and they're restricting the movement of staff between buildings.
The Township is also implementing staggered start times and single-operator crews for vehicles and equipment, to encourage social distancing.
