You should avoid four beaches in Niagara this weekend.
Public Health has issued warnings for the following beaches due to poor water quality testing results.
- Wavery Beach (Fort Erie)
- Fifty Point Conservation Beach (Grimsby)
- Sherkston Quarry Beach (Port Colborne)
- Reebs Bay (Wainfleet)
These areas may have high levels of E.Coli in the water which could lead to ear, eye, nose, throat or skin infections if you decide to go swimming.
Health officials also issue warnings whenever they find lots of weeds, oil, floating debris, bad odour or turbidity.
