The Welland Canal is about to open for the 2020 Navigation Season.
The St. Lawrence Seaway System says it will open on Tuesday March 24th at 8:00 a.m.
It's only a couple of days later compared to last year, when it opened on March 22nd.
St. Catharines and Port Colborne usually host Top Hat ceremonies to mark the occasion.
