Welland Council Appoints Steve Zorbas as Interim CAO

Steve Zorbas will be stepping up as Interim Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Welland.

He's already the CFO and General Manager of Corporate Services and now he's filling in as CAO until someone else is hired.

Zorbas has more than 35 years of municipal experience under his belt working for the City of Mississauga, the City of Burlington and the City of Richmond Hill.

Mayor Frank Campion says he's one of Welland's biggest assets.

Zorbas was appointed to the Interim CAO position at last night's council meeting.
