Welland Council Meetings Open to Public Again

Beginning June 7th members of the public can attend in chambers

While the pandemic is not over, some more signs things are slowly returning to normal in Welland.

Welland City Hall announcing that members of the public wishing to attend City Council meetings in-person are allowed to do so beginning June 7th.

Chambers have been closed since the beginning of the pandemic, and Council meetings shifted entirely online, live-streamed through the City’s website.

Live streaming will continue as an option to watch, but now chambers are open to full capacity of 150 people.

The city is encouraging those who do attend in person to remain mindful of social distancing.
