City seeking feedback from residents
The City of Welland wants to hear from residents about its transportation plan.
Two public information centres will be held, with the first taking place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on February 1st at City Hall.
The plan looks to provide Welland with transportation strategies that will support the community now and in the future.
"Ahead of unprecedented growth in the City, we’re working with residents to create a transportation plan that suits our current needs but also prepares for the future growth expected in the City," says Livia McEachern, manager of engineering. "Our goal is to engage residents in our City on the Move development to create a transportation plan that residents can rely on."
