The City is Welland is implementing a transit reservation system starting today.
City buses will be running for Welland residents only and they will have to book their free trips at least 24 hours in advance.
All you have to do is call Welland Transit at 905-735-1700 with extension 2291.
Their trip also must be deemed essential. They’re restricted to medical appointments, their place of employment and one trip to the grocery store per week.
The free service will be offered from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday to Friday.
This will not affect Regional Transit or the Well-Trans Service.
