A Welland musician has won big with Encore.
Cody Ballard has won $100,000, after matching the last six of seven Encore numbers in exact order in the December 25th Lotto 6/49 draw.
The 38 year old musician says he plans to buy a new TV and share his money with his girlfriend.
"This is amazing. I’ve always dreamt of winning the lottery but never expected it."
The winning ticket was bought at Circle K on Thorold Road in Welland.
