Pizza driver hospitalized with minor injuries after being assaulted and robbed in Welland.
A man from Welland is facing charges after a pizza delivery driver was assaulted and robbed.
Around 10:15 p.m. February 1st, the driver was called to a home near Cady Street and Duncan Street to deliver two pizzas valued at $19.30.
He was punched in the face by another man when he arrived.
The man took the pizzas inside without paying for them.
The victim was treated at hospital for minor injuries.
Officers located the suspect at the Cady Street residence, and property belonging to the victim was found at the scene.
Facing charges is 35 year old Joseph Edward Mills.
