Welland residents will not have to worry about penalty or interest charges.
The city has decided to suspend the charges for outstanding tax and water/wastewater bills until the end of May.
It's one less thing residents and businesses will have to worry about during the COVID-19 pandemic.
This also applies to interest charges on outstanding accounts receivables.
The pre-authorized payment program will continue and NSF charges will be waived.
Residents can pay their bills online or over the phone.
Civic Square remains closed at this time.
