Welland Woman Wins Big in Lottery

She says winning 'takes your breath away'

A huge lottery win for a Welland woman.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation says Jennifer Cohoe, a teacher, has won $1-million with Lotto 6/49.

She matched the last six of seven Encore numbers in the August 16th draw.

The OLG says she and her son stopped at Kay's Korner Variety in Welland, where they got the ticket.

Her husband was shocked, her sister came over with some champagne, and she plans to pay off the mortgage, go on a holiday, and invest.

She also says being a winner takes your breath away.
