Police have charged a man from West Lincoln, in relation to a sexual assault in Grimsby.
The NRP started investigating an alleged sexual assault involving a stranger on December 21st, 2019.
The incident happened in Sherwood Park, close to Hedge Lawn Drive.
Officers arrested the 25-year-old this past Thursday.
He has been charged with assault causing bodily harm and sexual assault.
Police have not released his identity because it could possibly lead to the identification of the victim.
