They were showing their support for our American neighbours who are protesting discrimination.
The Whirlpool Bridge in Niagara Falls closed to all Canada and U.S. bound traffic yesterday for the planned demonstration.
People kneeled on the sidewalk south of the bridge, facing the United States.
During the closure, the Niagara Falls Bridge Commission encouraged Nexus travellers to use the Rainbow and Queenston-Lewiston bridge crossings.
The Whirlpool Bridge has since reopened, but only to essential Nexus travellers due to the border restrictions.
