They flipped the switch and the lights are on for another year.
A celebration in Queen Victoria Park marked the opening of the Winter Festival of Lights on Saturday.
About 20 new exhibits and interactive displays were added this year for the festival's 37th season.
Displays along the eight kilometre route will be lit up from 5:00 p.m. until midnight each day until January 12th.
The route runs along the Niagara Parkway by the falls and through Dufferin Islands.
Last year, the festival brought in almost 2-million people.
