Heavy blowing snow will make morning commute difficult
A winter weather travel advisory in effect this morning for the Niagara Region.
Environment Canada is warning of snowfall amounts between 6-to-8 cm's with reduced visibility due to heavy blowing snow.
Icy and slippery road conditions are being reported around Niagara and OPP is advising motorists to slow down.
The snow will taper off this morning but the winds will stick around for most of the day.
