Police say sexual assault in St. Catharines did not happen
An update from police concerning a reported sexual assault in St. Catharines.
It was in the early morning hours of Saturday, April 5th, that a woman claimed she was attacked by two unknown men, as she walked in the Glendale Avenue and Kerr Street area.
The men fled, and she was not able to give a description.
Police eventually realized the claim could be false, and further investigation revealed that to be the case.
Yesterday, police charged 54-year old Jacqueline Olsen of St. Catharines with public mischief, she was released with a future court date.
