A young woman was talked back from the edge in a tense situation in Welland.
She had climbed the East Main Bridge Tower on Saturday night.
Concerned citizens called police and a negotiator with Niagara Regional Police gave her some positive words.
Hundreds of people gathered asking her to come down safely.
After about two hours, the woman decided to take the help offered.
