The Ford government unveils its 2022 budget today which will serve as its election platform ahead of the expected June election.

Sources says one of the main themes is building and fixing highways and hospitals.

Canadian Press says the budget will include plans for a new twin bridge over the Welland Canal on the QEW.

The budget reportedly carries a $158 billion pricetag which will be spread out over the next 10 years.

Word is the legislature will be adjourned right after today's budget announcement which means it may not be passed until after the June election.
