The YMCA will stop operating in Fort Erie on February 21st.
A letter has been sent out to members and giving the option to transfer their membership to another YMCA in Niagara, or to cancel.
The E-J Freeland YMCA building and land will be transferred back to the Town for the price of one dollar.
That's supposed to happen on February 28th.
A special council meeting will be held tomorrow night and more details are expected then.
The town has a deal with the Boys and Girls Club of Niagara to offer programs at the E-J Freeland site.
Starting in January, the YMCA says it will start cutting back services and hours ahead of the closure.
