City looking for civic-minded youth
The City of Niagara Falls is looking for youth who enjoy being part of the community.
Applications are now open for the Mayor's Youth Advisory Committee.
The team is comprised of youth from several grades and backgrounds from local high schools, as well as city residents attending schools outside the area.
Once appointed, members spend the school year advising on prominent issues and planning special events.
In the past, the committee has supported local charities and businesses, and hosted educational and sports events.
