Another person has died in Niagara as the number of cases jumps to just shy of 300.
Public Health is reporting 299 positive tests in the Region, including 26 deaths.
Niagara Health has had 229 confirmed cases at its sites.
There are 30 people with the virus being treated in local hospitals.
More than 14 per cent of the cases in Niagara are healthcare workers.
About 78 per cent of those with the virus are self-isolating, about 12 per cent are in hospital.
Just under three per cent have ended up in intensive care.
