One person received minor injuries during an assault in Niagara Falls.
One person is facing charges following an assault in Niagara Falls.
Around 8 PM on Monday night, police were called to a home near Ontario Avenue and Seneca Street.
Investigators say the victim was leaving the home of an acquaintance when the suspect used a weapon to corner the victim.
The victim sustained minor lacerations to the face.
After a short period, the victim was allowed to leave, and was threatened by the suspect, who was holding what was believed to be a firearm.
A search warrant was conducted on the home, and police determined the weapon to be a pistol style pellet gun.
28 year old Sandro Tomazinic is facing numerous charges, including Assault with a Weapon, Uttering Threats and Robbery.
He is due in court on Friday.
