Brock University is going to honour Gerald and Stephanie Mitchell.
Gerald was the President of Dana Corp before he passed away in 2016.
His wife Stephanie passed away late last year and she left $2.7 million to Brock in his honour.
President Gervan Fearon says this generous donation will benefit students for years to come.
The university is going to use the funds to establish the Dr. Gerald B. Mitchell Centre of Excellence in Career and Experiential Education.
It's going to provide students with grants, workshops and work opportunities so they can get some hands-on experience in their chosen field.
