Brampton man accused of violating the Ontario Highway Traffic Act
A man from Brmapton has been arrested after 150 dead chickens were dropped on the road in Grimsby.
Around 12:13 p.m. yesterday, police were called to Park Road South in Grimsby.
Investigators say the chickens were dumped from a commercial motor vehicle.
Park Road South was closed between Ridge Road and Bell Avenue for about 1.5 hours for the cleanup.
The driver, a 25 year old man from Brampton, is accused of having an insecure load.
The Ministry of Transportation is investigating the safety standards of the truck involved.
