Food drive to benefit Village of Hope non-profit
A church in Beamsville is stepping up to help the needy.
Calvary Gospel Church is teaming up with the Village of Hope for a community food drive this Saturday.
Volunteers will pick up donations from community members between 10:00 a.m. and noon.
As well, in-person drop-offs are being accepted at the church until noon on Saturday.
All donations will be sent to the Village of Hope food bank.
Most needed items include granola bars, all purpose flour, cookies, vegetable oil, coffee and peanut butter.
Volunteers are also needed between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
