The City of Niagara Falls is asking residents to provide their thoughts on cannabis cultivation, processing and production.
On June 25th, 2019, City Council passed By-law 2019-76, allowing staff to conduct a review in regards to the land use planning policies and zoning regulations for the production, cultivation and processing of cannabis, and report the results and recommendations resulting from this review to Council.
The City has hired SGL Planning & Design Inc. to prepare a background report, leading to recommendations to regulate cannabis production.
