The city of Welland announcing after a slate of holiday themed happenings, the yuletide season’s marquee event will happen December 18th in Merrit Park and the Farmer's Market.
On that day the market hours will be extended into the evening with live entertainment and photo booths.
Events at Merrit Park will also include live entertainment, ice carving demonstrations and snow taffy.
Santa will wrap up the night with a reading of a Christmas classic .
