Pumpkin Patrol Program will partner with police to help keep kids safe when trick or treating.
Cogeco is once again taking to the streets to help children trick or treat safely.
For the 8th consecutive year, the Pumpkin Patrol will be out on Halloween in several communities, including Niagara.
Between 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., the Patrol will be out in white vans in areas where there are trick-or-treaters, and parents and children are encouraged to reach out to them if they need assistance.
"At Cogeco, being involved in our local communities is at the heart of everything we do, whether it’s by hiring 100 percent local talent, investing in our networks, or patrolling the streets on Halloween," said Matt Wickham, Vice President and General Manager, Ontario at Cogeco. "In partnering with local police services, our employees provide additional eyes to help protect our children while they enjoy Trick or Treating, making it a fun and safe evening for the children, as well as parents and caregivers."
