NDP confirms they will support it
There were lots of goodies in the spending plan including money for a new dental program, starting with children under the age of 12, at an initial cost of $300 million.
There also a pledge of more than $8 billion in new military funding over five years.
The main focus was on housing affordability.
The government is moving to make it illegal for foreign buyers to buy any residential properties in Canada for the next two years.
Money will be spent to help municipalities cut through red tape and approve housing projects more rapidly.
And $1.5 billion will go toward building at least 6,000 new affordable housing units, across the country.
