Police say a vehicle hit a street post in Fort Erie
A single vehicle crash in Fort Erie has led to drug charges against a 21-year old man.
Police were called just before 5, yesterday morning, to the Garrison Road and Helena Street area, to find a grey Buick hit a street post and flipped over.
Police took a closer look, and found:
- A Glock firearm
- 27.4 grams of suspected fentanyl
- 111.3 grams of suspected cocaine
- 14 tablets of suspected oxycodone
- 234.6 grams of suspected cannabis
- $100 in Canadian Currency
Total value of the drugs is roughly $18,000.
Ardon Chamberlain of Fort Erie is charged with:
- Unauthorized Possession of a Restricted Firearm
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm in a Motor Vehicle
- Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Device
- Careless Storage of a Firearm
- Careless Storage of Ammunition
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine (Two Counts)
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Oxycodone
- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
- Several Cannabis Act related charges
He was kept in police custody.
