Niagara Health will soon start to resume non-urgent surgeries.
As of Tuesday, May 25th, day surgeries and outpatient procedures will return.
Inpatient surgeries will resume later in the week.

Niagara Health postponed non-emergency procedures in April under orders from the province, in order to ease pressures on hospitals.
Earlier today, Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. David Williams announced the pause has been lifted, and hospitals can resume elective procedures if they have the capacity to do so.
