Police say it was due to a shooting last night at West Edmonton mall
A shooting at the West Edmonton mall has sent three men to hospital.
Police say they were seriously hurt last night, but the injuries are considered non life-threatening.
The mall was placed under lockdown, but police say it was lifted after two hours.
Authorities believe the shooting was targeted and that the shooter and victims are known each other.
The mall, a major tourist attraction, says on its website it conducts lockdown drills four times a year to prepare for emergencies.
