Wayne Redekop is back from a trip and is now in self-isolation.
The Fort Erie Mayor and his wife got back from their one week vacation on Thursday and neither are showing symptoms of the virus.
The federal government is asking anyone returning to Canada to self-isolate for 14 days.
During his isolation, Redekop will continue as head-of-council, but Councillor Ann-Marie Noyes will chair tonight’s council meeting in his absence.
The meeting will be closed to the public, but will be live-streamed on the Town’s Youtube channel beginning at 6:00 p.m.
