Freedom Convoy Heading to Peace Bridge

Group behind Ottawa protests says demonstrations will occur on the Peace Bridge this weekend.

Canada Unity, the group behind the "Freedom Convoy" protests in Ottawa, says demonstrations will be held on the Peace Bridge this weekend.

In a post on their Facebook page, the group says demonstrators will meet up at locations in Buffalo, Stoney Creek and Niagara-on-the-Lake, before heading to the bridge to call for an end to COVID-19 mandates.

Meanwhile, Ottawa remains under a state of emergency as calls for the trucker convoy to go home continue.
